Volleyball Ace Annual Software Subscription and Support Policy Some software companies license their products on an annual subscription basis rather than charging for license purchases and annual support. At first glance, these annual subscription prices seem to be a better deal, because they are roughly half the cost of a software license. However, because the annual subscription fee must be paid every year in order to use the software, annual software subscriptions are not a particularly good deal for the customer.
